To "R"...

If your HIV tests come back as positive, let's hope your death is swift and painful.

That way, there'll be one less furry troll in the fandom to worry about IMO.

My final say on the matter...

The goons got to their fuckbuddies.
Their fuckbuddies got spooked.
Said fuckbuddies got to Cyan.
Cyan is forced to resign over expressing his opinions.

With that said, in honor of his forced and unwarranted expulsion from con staff over expressing said opinions, I dub thee - the convention founders, operators and staff of Furry Weekend Atlanta - as the first recipients of the following description:

PILLOW

...because the asshats know that you're soft, you can be fluffed
and they can sleep with you anytime they damn well please.

Meh... (Off-LJ posting)

I'm starting to get the feeling that unless i'm making posts 24/7 with every personal detail, extraneous vent of drama and bland minutia in my life or conversing to every person on my watch with every post they make, then noone really is interested in remotely having anything to do with me - even if it's just a mere lurk over or passing glance at any of the infrequent postings i do make or comments i do leave on their internets...

A friendship on something like the tubes is probably only worth the transient words you've sometimes batted into your keyboard in your attempts to show you care in some cases, whereas the other party clearly is no longer interested in continuing that correspondence... The cyberspace's epitome of a non-reciprocal deafness, so to speak. And sadly, unless you're the one bitching and moaning the loudest or getting to the point of annoyance is some people's faces, it's impossible to keep anyone interested. It seems that's all soviet LiveJournal is good for anyways: redunant postings by self-depreciating drama whores and ignorant follow-the-leader-type sociopaths. And it's all in the name lulz and good times, right ol' chaps? Feh.

Sure i don't post often, make any sort of revalatory, profound statements of pathos or signficance or what not - i'm just posting the odd album share ripped from my CD collection, posting some internet link that interests me, posting a shoop or two every now and then or making some small obtuse blurb about how life's been (and kvetching about the boredom that comes along with it), but isn't that enough to let you know i still exist? A so-called sad, deluded furry looking for friends and contacts in the outside world since he doesn't really have the resources or amenities readily available to make some sort of personal or social life applicable to himself beyond internet? Throw me a friggin' bone, already. If that's not enough for some of you, then what is, exactly?

Maybe the Joule isn't such a good thing to look at sometimes - because it gives an idea of just how a mutual correspondence with you isn't of any importance to some people. Or maybe you were just merely some valueless, blabbering infomercial they watched for a few seconds before they changed the channel.

Get rid of that placeholder post and get to the good stuff!

Well, since i haven't posted in this thing for the better part of a year or so (with the exception of the high drama post that i had here for a couple of weeks before obliterating that and the obsolete posts on it to start afresh), i figure there's no better time than now to introduce myself...

My name is John William Daniel Boutilier, and i'm a 30 year old male resident of Cape Breton Island on the east coast of Canada, but i have also been known for the last 5-1/2 years under the alias Aladasian W. Suricatus (a/k/a Aladasian, Daz, Ala or whatever you wish to call me) in the online faction of the furry lifestyle community. I am also post and comment at a number of message boards and places, too many to name so i won't divulge them here. I am a low-key artist specializing in drawing anthropomorphic and funny animal caricatures as evidenced by the meagre offerings i have available on my website. I started in derivative terms, partially tracing some of the outlines in my early work, but in recent years, i've attempted stippling and original design - however, i've been dealing with a block that has been plaguing me for the past year, so i haven't been active with my artwork for some time, and even though the link i've provided just a few moments ago is for an upcoming build of the site, i also have yet to update the layout and design of it, so for the time being, the site's old content is still there and you may need to open the page to navigate the content since there's no way to return to the main menu while it's being viewed as a floating window. Sorry about that.

I can spare divulging you the contents of my fursona description and hobbies - not like they may be of any interest to you or whatnot, but it helps to know - since i appear to have already posted them in my details. (Whew...)

And how did i find furry? Blame The Lion King. And after i first got the internet in April 2001, i started searching out likeminded Timon fans (stumbling across Kimya's site in the process), which led me to other message boards, artists and communities, making friends and keeping touch with a few of them frequently (and dropping a note every now and then to the ones who have lost touch with me). And here i am nearly six years later.

I'm also a music lover, as my (outdated) CD and (always updated) MP3 collections might attest, and i'm always on the hunt for rare albums i've heard in my past. Places like The EmPeeThree Index or Music ElDorado and people like sean_lew and GoatMusic, as well as your typical P2P client - if you look hard enough, that is, sans things like eDonkey or the such (i can never figure those things out) - help out considerably in my quest to find stuff from my shallowest past, as well as some recent faves or not-yet-heard curios.

I know what you're thinking: "Why have a blog when you already use LiveJournal?" Well, simple. You know the dealio with the rampant trolling by some users in the LJ userbase... and the momentary comments from the site's staff to deal with the problem that come up time and again? Well, i don't call it LieJournal for nothing. I'm waiting for the aboslute moment of failure from the management and staff that will force me to completely abandon that endeavor. You just simply can't put your faith (or money, as a matter of fact) into their incompetence, to say the least. And just in case that happens, i have this blog to fall back on, so that way, i still have something to post either news or the random effluvia that seems to interest me on. And maybe spam you with it in the process, but considering my infrequency with posts, you won't have to worry about a million-post-a-day type of blogger to look out for. Yes, you can now sigh with relief.

So for now, yeah, this blog is on standby, but maybe i could make a post every now and then to let you know what's up and update you on any progress that i make with things site/art-wise (good luck... hopefully i'll be able to break this spell...). Would that be okay with you?

Oh, and as a parting gift for now, i made a little mixtape cd a few weeks back containing some of the tunes that have rocked my world over the last several years...
Why not... have yourself a listen if you want to!
(WARNING: 92 MB file inside the link - dialuppers, don't bother!)

Oh yeah, and one last thing before i go: NEENUR NEENUR NEENUR! :*)~
